That's a great thought Jamie, I completely forgot about that. On the flip-side though, some people like tux places will give discounts for wedding parties as opposed to just multiple rentals. I like the ease of my wedding venue because they go out and find all the vendors themselves. My father-in-law calls it 'purchasing a nega-hassle.' Essentially paying a little more for the convenience.
I've heard of people that book the location for their wedding and just tell the manager at the reception location that they are just having a party (and specifically never mention the word "wedding").
Apparently many places charge an arm and a leg for the same services if it is for a wedding compared to just any regular party assuming that the bride and groom are already expecting to spend a ton of money! Crazy, right?!

We still get to pick out what we want as far as the details but on the actual day we just have to get dressed and show up.

I was reading this article on CNN.com about finding a job in the "green" sector, and I started wondering how important finding a job in a field you are passionate about is to you. Thoughts? Would you give up a high paying job because it didn't align…
Has becoming divorced or suddenly single changed your view of joint finances? Has it made you more or less likely to share bank accounts and credit cards with a significant other?
The Credit CARD Act of 2009 is a 45 page long amendment to the Truth in Lending Act that makes for a wonderful cat bed—at least, that’s what my cats seem to think as they both stretch out luxuriously on its pages. And that’s fine for them, after all…
