I was at a friend's wedding this weekend and they had really creative wedding favors. The bride just went back to school so they found creative ways to do the whole day on a tight budget, but did an amazing job of keeping everything very beautiful and personal.

I think the wedding favors were probably the most creative and personal touches that they put on the whole event. The bride and her sister made little origami boxes with candy mints for everyone. I have been to a lot of weddings in the past two years, but this was a first.

I thought it was great because it was hand-made by the bride, super inexpensive, and you can coordinate with whatever your color theme is. I found some YouTube tutorials on making boxes if you want to test out or origami skills.

All I could think of when I read your post was, "I hope this was a smalllll wedding :)." Great idea and totally cute, but I don't think I'd have the patience to pull it off. Did they say how long it took?

Very true. The wedding was pretty small. There were probably 75 people there at the very most. Any larger than that, and you would have to recruit an army of brides maids to help out!
