I have the worst addiction to the show Bridezilla on WE. I don't know why...sometimes those shows are so contrived though. Has anyone experienced actually being a Bridezilla? I think I was kind of a Maid-of-Honorzilla at my sister's wedding--but that was only because she asked me to be one, I swear ;)

I was the opposite of the a Bridezilla. I was the coolest bride I've ever had the pleasure of walking down the aisle with. (No, really.) My only worry about the whole thing was that the music was good. It rocked, so I was happy. I wasn't even fazed when my cousin, the flower girl, wet herself on stage. Ah, the memories.

Whenever I watch that show I say to myself, "Self, maybe you're not such a bit** after all!"

Have either of you ever witnessed a real Bridezilla?

I haven't, actually, but I've probably been lucky. Most of my friends are as laid back as I am, and I actively avoid the more high maintenance types. Maybe the Bridezilla is a myth created by creative editing out there in Hollywood? ...Nah, probably not.

Hi, I have actually witnessed a few 'bridezillas.' I used to work for a tuxedo company in downtown boston and every wedding season there would be a few crazy women who would absolutely lose it over the smallest detail. Most of the time it was the fit of the suit on the one guy who came from out of town and just sent us his measurements. In our case, we were able to re-hem pants, and lengthen or shorten coat sleeves right there on the spot in 10 minutes but did they ever listen? no way. Once I had a bride-to-be call our corporate office from the store and try to get myself and my co-worker fired before we even knew there had been a problem with a tux. Some people just don't act rationally.

In my early twenties when I worked in a Bridal shop, we had the same set up for tuxedo rentals. Never had any Bridezillas though...I feel so cheated ;P
