The age you are not Super Dad
My 14 y/o, and 1st born, no longer wants to hang with "Dad". He has been my best friend since birth. Now he has a girlfriend and is expressing his individuality. We went to Sox games together, we went Jet Skiing, you name it, he wanted to hang with dad and have fun.
I know this is a normal part of the teens years. I did it to my dad. But I forget, what age do I get my best friend back?
Luckily my 12 y/o and 10 y/o still want to hang with Dad!

I don't have children, so this is completely speculative, but I don't think you get the best friend back until he's in his 20's. This period is known as the 'blackout period' but as soon as it's over, it'll be just like it was :)
