In my home, I'm the primary housekeeper. I think it's because I have a different comfort level with dirt than hubby does. He might be able to stay happy with the house in a state that I can't stand. Thankfully, he always pitches in, even if he makes fun of my super-sharp eyes that see dust bunnies that aren't there. I think that's a great way to keep one family member from being overly burdened and, possibly, resentful. It also makes the chores go by quickly so you have more time for fun stuff.
